SHIPPING, RETURNS & BUYING INFORMATION

READY TO PLAY

Your ZERO needs no knocking-in. It is a hard-tennis bat, built for the tennis and tape balls used in gully and street cricket. Take it out of the box and play.

NOT OILED, ON PURPOSE

We leave the willow unoiled so you can see the grain and judge the wood for yourself. It does not need oil to play.

MADE FOR TENNIS AND TAPE BALLS

This bat is built for tennis and tape balls. A season or leather ball will damage it, and that damage is not covered.

LOOKING AFTER IT

Keep it dry and store it indoors at room temperature. Do not leave it in a car boot or in direct sun. Check the grip and toe now and then, and replace the grip when it wears smooth.

01 / THE FOUNDING BATCH

NOT EVERY BAT
MAKES THE CUT.

A good-looking bat isn't enough. We look at willow, weight, balance, finish and visible defects when selecting bats for OUTPLAY. Our father's experience across bat-making helps guide those decisions. The standard is straightforward: the bat should match what we say it is.

02 / SEE THE BAT

EVERY ANGLE
MATTERS.

The face. The grain. The Double Scoop. The handle. The toe. Take a closer look at ZERO before it reaches your hands. Explore the original photographs above with swipe and zoom.
